When we are lost in life, we can forget that we have built in GPS ability. A simple groan, cry for help or whispered prayer takes us to the throne room of God. When we’ve taken wrong turns or lost our way, we are one prayer away from being rescued, restored and back on track towards destiny.
God created us in His image for relationship and mission. Not one of us is an accident, we are all one-of-a-kind masterpiece made on purpose for a purpose. God knows our strengths, weaknesses, talents, abilities and character flaws. He knows us more than we’ll ever know ourselves and He still loves us unconditionally.
God’s love is not dependent on our behavior, if so He would not have sent His only beloved son to earth for us when we were far from Him. Jesus came to earth, He was not deterred by sinful man. He became flesh, moved into the neighborhood, dwelt among us, embraced us, healed us and set us free.
Jesus went to the cross knowing that He would suffer for you and me. He laid down His life at the cross on Calvary, so we could receive His righteousness, redemption, salvation and sanctification. Now because of Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross, we can be right with God, and on track with our purpose and call.
God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can hope, think or ask. It is His power that works in us to will and do His good pleasure. As we find our hope in Him, we will find ourselves exactly where we are supposed to be: on course, flourishing and fulfilling our God-given mission on Planet Earth.
Hebrews 4:16 (AMP) - Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].
